Mushrum Kloudz: Da Komplete Saga

Written by:

For the past four months I’ve been playing in a Warhammer 40,000 Slow-Grow Crusade Campaign called ‘Voidbound’.  The ‘slow grow’ part of this meant that rather than increasing supply limit by spending RP as is normal we instead each started at 500 points (playing Combat Patrol and Boarding Actions missions) and then grew our armies by an additional 500 points each phase.

I have:

  • Painted 2000 points of Orks, totalling 144 models.
  • Played 15 games against 17 different opponents (there were some multiplayer games)
  • Scored 9 wins, 4 losses and 2 draws.
  • Never once rolled a 6 on a deadly demise test for any of my vehicles, meaning that I never got to actually use the Careen stratagem.  (Sobs in Ork.)

For ease of reference I’ve collected together below every post from this campaign, in order:

Phase 1 (500 points)

Warboss Uzblitz Gogbusta and his warband, Da Mushrum Kloudz, manage to ‘acquire’ and retrofit an Imperial supply ship

Phase 2 (1000 points)

Phase 3 (1500 points)

Phase 4 (2000 points)
